KADIKALESI Kadikalesi, four kilometres to the north of Turgutreis, was an old Leleg city. Now it is developing as a greener holiday resort area. The name of the place comes from the Hellenistic era castle on the top of the hill. The church on the opposite hill dates from the Roman period. The historic fountain under the platanus trees is still being used today. |
