Officially named the Milas - Bodrum Airport ( airport code: BJV ) everybody calls it simply Bodrum Airport. The International Terminal (Dis Hatlar) and Domestic Terminal (Iç Hatlar) are about 1 km apart, separated by grassy fields.
It's about a 15-minute walk across the fields between the terminals, longer if you walk on the roads. Located in the Aegean region of Turkey and within the Mulga province, Bodrum Airport (BJV) is close to Milas, a city known for its endless Archaeological Sites and rich history.
Although the Bodrum airport is a relatively new one - the facilities are excellent. A spacious international terminal welcomes you with a friendly atmosphere.
Charter aircraft now fly directly to Bodrum, instead of Izmir or Dalaman Airport saving visitors time and exhaustion of the formerly three hours transfer trip.
At the moment there are unfortunately no charter flight in winter time but though there are daily flight between Istanbul - Bodrum, so you will always find a good connection from the European main airports.
The Bodrum airport has a surface runway that is 3,000 mt long, and 45 mt wide.
